Confessing Synod Ministries
is a network of prophetic congregations who teach and take action on issues that affect those who may not be able to speak out on their own.
Confessional means to state ones beliefs. Prophetic ministry is based on the orthodox Christian principals of the prophetic side of Jesus. It is a way of engaging people in ministry, which has a critical and creative edge. This has been accomplished through on aspect of ministry with the Denominational Ministry Strategy
(DMS) & (DMX) started in the 1980's and continues today.
Creative action assists those who struggle and risk for self-determination, dignity, and justice in their own community. It often is a message and action that is not comforting to the hearer as it delivers resolution to community issues. Action may either be polemical, confrontational, cooperative, or magnified until enough power for resolution is obtained.
